Joystick Gremlin, UCR, OpenTrack, FreePIE, HidHide and other vJoy feeder apps.
HidHide Guide: Hide Physical Controllers from Games You have merged your stick and pedals into one clean vJoy device — and the game is still misbehaving, because it can also see the original physical controllers sitting next to the virtual one. That is the double input problem, and HidHide is the tool that ends it….
Mouse to Joystick with FreePIE and vJoy The mouse is the most precise pointing device on your desk, and some games would be far easier to steer or look around in if only they accepted it as a joystick. FreePIE plus vJoy makes that happen: a small script reads your mouse and writes its movement…
Sx2vJoy: Use a 3DConnexion SpaceMouse as a Joystick A 3DConnexion SpaceMouse is a wonderful device for CAD work — and invisible to most games and simulators, which only know how to read joysticks. Sx2vJoy closes that gap. It is a small feeder application by Lasse-B that takes the input from a 3DConnexion controller and writes…
vJoySerialFeeder: RC Receivers and Arduino into vJoy Two kinds of hardware speak serial and wish they were joysticks: the RC transmitter you want to practise with in a simulator, and the Arduino board you built into a home-made controller. vJoySerialFeeder is the bridge for both. Written by Cleric-K, it does one job — it feeds…
Head Tracking with OpenTrack, FreePIE and vJoy Head tracking changes how a sim feels more than almost any other upgrade: look left, and the view looks left. OpenTrack is the software most PC pilots use to do it on a budget, and many of them assume vJoy is part of the package. Sometimes it is…
UCR (Universal Control Remapper) Guide: Any Input to vJoy Some games only understand a joystick, while the control you actually want to use is a keyboard, a mouse or a racing wheel. Universal Control Remapper — UCR — exists for exactly that mismatch. It takes almost any input device and remaps it onto a virtual…
Joystick Gremlin Guide: Merge HOTAS Devices into One vJoy If you fly with a stick in one hand, a throttle in the other and pedals under the desk, your simulator sees three separate controllers — and not every game handles that gracefully. Joystick Gremlin solves the problem by taking all of your physical devices and…
